SEERAH Foundation operates two ambulances to provide free emergency medical transport for the rural population of District Matiari, District Shaheed Benazirabad, and District Sanghar. The service is available for road accidents, sudden health crises, serious injuries, and other emergencies, ensuring patients are quickly taken to hospitals for treatment.
During the 2022 flood relief operations, the ambulances were used to transport affected families, deliver patients to safe locations, and assist medical teams in disaster-affected areas.
The service also supports:
Dialysis patients – Regular transportation to treatment facilities reduces travel difficulties and costs.
Expectant mothers – Safe travel to hospitals for prenatal and delivery care.
Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) – Transport to medical check-ups, rehabilitation services, and specialized care.
Elderly citizens – Comfortable and reliable access to specialized medical treatment in city hospitals.
This ambulance service addresses a critical gap in emergency response for rural and disaster-affected communities, improving access to healthcare, saving lives, and supporting the most vulnerable.
