Assistive Devices and Accessibility

In collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, SEERAH Foundation is implementing an Assistive Devices and Accessibility Program in Town Bakhar Jamali, Taluka New Saeedabad, District Matiari. Following a survey in June 2025, eligible persons with disabilities were identified. SEERAH Foundation, with the support and collaboration of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, is implementing an Assistive Devices and Accessibility Program to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life for persons with disabilities.

SEERAH Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, successfully organized an assistive devices distribution ceremony on 22nd September 2025 in Town Bakhar Jamali, Tehsil New Saeedabad, District Matiari, Sindh.
During the event, more than 250 assistive devices including wheelchairs, tricycles, hearing aids, walkers, canes, and crutches were distributed among persons with disabilities to enhance their mobility, independence, and quality of life.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Munir Ahmad Dahot, Regional Director DEPD Hyderabad, along with distinguished guests including Mr. Murad Ali Jamali, Director DEPD Shaheed Benazirabad; Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Channar, Ex-Regional Director DEPD Shaheed Benazirabad; Mr. Rafique Ahmed Jamali, Additional Director Social Welfare Development Matiari and others.
All the guests highly appreciated the efforts of Seerah Foundation and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting initiatives that foster an inclusive and accessible society.
