Assistive Devices and Accessibility
In collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, SEERAH Foundation is implementing an Assistive Devices and Accessibility Program in Taluka New Saeedabad, District Matiari. Following a survey in June 2025, eligible persons with disabilities were identified. For the first time in the area, assistive devices will be provided, with DEPD’s approval and support, as a result of SEERAH Foundation’s continuous
SEERAH Foundation, with the support and collaboration of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, is implementing an Assistive Devices and Accessibility Program to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life for persons with disabilities.
The program is currently active in Taluka New Saeedabad, District Matiari. In June 2025, SEERAH Foundation conducted a comprehensive survey to identify eligible beneficiaries based on need and type of disability. For the first time in the area, assistive devices will be distributed, with DEPD’s official approval and support, achieved through SEERAH Foundation’s continuous efforts to address the needs of persons with disabilities.
This initiative aims to remove barriers to accessibility, promote social inclusion, and enable persons with disabilities to participate more fully in education, employment, and community life.
